Fodor Chiropractic is equipped to help you get relief from pain and find true bodily healing through Chiropractic Care and Massage Therapy. Contrary to what some may assume, Chiropractic Care extends far beyond relieving back and neck pain. You can count on our care to become a healing solution for a number of chronic and acute health conditions. The list below is a great start but not comprehensive! Please give us a call and we will be able to assess your unique situation!

Techniques & Therapies

Dr. Fodor is highly trained in several chiropractic techniques and methods known as the Palmer Package. This group of chiropractic techniques enable Dr. Fodor to deal with practically any clinical situation that may arise. Specializing in the Gonstead technique, Dr. Fodor takes an evidence-based approach to helping your body heal itself.

GONSTEAD TECHNIQUE

The Gonstead technique is a full spine technique that utilizes Instrumentation, Static Palpation, Motion Palpation, and X-ray to determine where and how much care your spine needs. Our philosophy is to find it, fix it, and leave it alone.

THOMPSON TECHNIQUE

The Thompson Technique is a variation of the Diversified Technique that uses a special table with segments that “drop” and allow for an adjustment to occur with limited force.

WEBSTER TECHNIQUE

The Webster Technique was developed for pregnant women to achieve optimal alignment in pregnancy. It combines adjustment with soft tissue work and has helped many women in correcting breach presentations.

MASSAGE THERAPY

Massage Therapy has proven to be a great complimentary service to regular chiropractic care. It focuses on soft tissue manipulation – relieving muscle pain and tension. This has a great stress-reducing effect on the body.

Learn About Chiropractic

Chiropractors align the Skeletal System to prevent bones from exerting pressure on nerves.  The two main ways bones put pressure on nerves is either through abnormal position or abnormal motion (movement).

It is just as important to know where to adjust as it is how to adjust. We use thermal scanning, palpation (feeling how the bone moves), x-rays and its analysis, as well as the comparing of one segmental level of the spine to another before adjustments are made.

Adjustments must always be precise. Our goal is to restore proper position and function to the areas in need. Another goal is always to restore the health, function & stability of your skeletal system. We strive for you to need us less as care progresses.

The human nervous system is the master system that runs all others. Even the beat of your heart starts with a nerve impulse. All hormones are controlled by the nervous system. In short, if a health problem is present, the nerves that control that part of your anatomy need to be checked to see if interference is present.
